Launching Twitter Japan
On April 22 2008, Twitter - The micro-blogging social website launched its Japanese version. The release of Twitter in Japan came as a result of the massive service usage by the Japanese users.
In fact, according to some sources, there were more than twice as many Tweets from Tokyo (28,874) as from New York (14,367) or San Francisco (14,348).

Commodore International released B700 and P500 series of Micro-computers.
On April 19 1982, Commodore International released the B(700) and P(500) series of microcomputers, featuring a 6509 CPU, 64KB RAM expandable to 256KB, 28KB ROM, an 80×25 green phosphor monitor, a built-in 94-key keyboard, two 5.25-inch floppy disk drives, and several I/O ports.
These machines ran Basic as their operating system, and the price ranged between $1,700 up to $3,000.

On April 9 2009, Facebook - the giant social website, hit a new record at that time of having 200 million active user accounts.
