On 20 April 1998, At COMDEX and while demonstrating Windows 98, Bill Gates came out with these famous words after a blue error screen popped up in front of the entire audience while his assistant Chris Capossela tried to connect a scanner to the computer.
This was made as an attempt to show case the automatic plug and play feature for hardware drivers installation.
